Treatment was polite, capable and caring. Nicer facilities than most. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because of the food. I know it’s not a 5 star restaurant but meals taste better when served on glass & china; not disposables. Also, we have wonderful fruit growers here, why bring in peaches and pairs from China of all places? The pollution is off the chain.

Extremely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and the rather rabid attitude of the Doctor who decided she knew best despite having ZERO history with a person referred there. The assessment done was not what they were referred for. Totally ignored the reason. This MD is definitely motivated by her gigantic ego. I wonder how much in kick backs she receives for inaccurate reporting. Totally could not care less about the patient's circumstances. Some doctors shouldn't be anywhere near human beings. They are driven by billings and financial rewards. You should be highly ashamed. I have second hand embarrassment trying to explain your despicable actions in causing unfair stress and unnecessary financial expenses that are not warranted in this situation. SHAME ON YOU! YOUR actions have caused us both to question how you hold such a position. We no longer trust UHN, especially Toronto Rehab because of you. Your bias will not go unchallenged. You tricked and lied to a patient and then used your license to cause him embarrassment and endure a humiliating experience which caused him injury to his person, dignity, integrity and he will endure future financial losses to prove you WRONG. Again, SHAME!

A good rehab facility that offers services not provided by hospitals for post-surgical care. There does however seem to be a real lapse when it comes to coordinating care at home and in the community upon discharge. More involvement from social work is desperately needed to make this transition smoother, thereby ensuring optimal healing and recovery. However, in general, the staff are hard-working, pleasant, and the care is client-centered. A good experience overall.

We can't thank enough the staff at The Toronto Rehab Clinic on University st. We were amazed at how our family member was so well treated and taken care of, from the wonderful Dr. Fan to the sweet and caring nurses and PSWs. The wonderful Ms. Edith and sweet Pam who always put a smile on our faces. These wonderful super heroes did not just do their job, they went above and beyond. When we had questions, concerns or just wanted to talk because our loved one was going through a difficult journey, they were there for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The staff on the 9th floor, were not just nurses and doctors or PSWs, they were FAMILY. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cannot find the right words to explain how happy I am to know my father had the greatest care team for his recovery. To all the staff members on the stroke unit, you’ve all been absolutely incredible.

Communication between staff, my father and myself have been perfect. All questions have been answered in detail. Support has been given whenever needed. Everyone is super friendly, understanding, compassionate, patient and professional.

It is time to take my father home and I will actually miss this place.

A great Rehab facility, rooms are functional and safe, most personnel is very professional and courteous. Physio and OT are wonderful. Food can be a bit plain but is edible. Now be aware that there are a few people in the nursing staff that are just not cut for this kind of career, it is sad how they an label you in their systems if you dare to speak up for yourself if you are ignored for a long time while you have pain for example, or if you are talked to as if you are ignorant, they expect you to just take it and say nothing, threats of kicking you out with security because you wouldn't take their offensive behaviour, getting in your face and talking to you as if there is nothing you can do to their verbal abuse is really difficult to handle. If you do have an elderly family member there please pay attention, they could have been mistreated. Once again, most personnel is wonderful, just pay attention for the very few rotten apples.
