I have been a patient here for so long, and I am starting to seriously dislike this clinic! Receptionists never answer their calls, I’ve been left on hold for over 15 minutes the last two times I called! I called at 9:10 am the other day and I decided to hang up because I was fed up! When they do answer the phone, they talk like their hate their jobs. I went in with my boyfriend today, and there was a line of 35 people for walk-in! This is ridiculous. I’m better off going elsewhere.

Everytime I call it’s a minimum 10min wait on hold to talk to someone, it says to book online so I did and when I booked, the appointment wasn’t showing online so I called to confirm. They told me the appt wasn’t booked so the receptionist booked me for what I was told “same day at x time” and when I arrived for my appt I was told that it was actually the previous day. Not a single call to confirm appts and no call to say I was late to appt. So now I have booked for the 3rd time in hopes I don’t drove 1 hour to the city for it to not be my appt time. Don’t tell me to book online if your services don’t work and maybe a confirmation texts to patients to avoid missing appts we have waited WEEKS for because you don’t dare see a doc within 2-3 weeks of looking for an appt. The only reason I stay a patient is because the physician is good.

City Center Family Physicians has once again demonstrated an unacceptable level of incompetence in their administrative processes, jeopardizing their patients’ health and well-being. This weekend, both my child and I were left without critical medications—an antidepressant for myself and ADHD medication for my child—because of the administrative staff's failure to perform the most basic aspects of their job.

We submitted the refill request well in advance, giving the office more than enough time to process it. The pharmacy sent the renewal fax, and I personally confirmed with the office that it had been received. Yet, despite this confirmation, the staff failed to follow through and send the prescription back to the pharmacy. This negligence means that my child and I will now face withdrawal symptoms until the office reopens on Monday—a completely avoidable crisis.

This gross mismanagement has derailed our entire weekend as we scrambled, unsuccessfully, to find a solution. The stress and emotional toll of knowing that your healthcare provider cannot be relied upon to perform even the most basic tasks is beyond frustrating—it’s infuriating.

Let me be clear: the doctors at this practice are excellent. They provide outstanding care and have never been the issue. However, the administrative team’s repeated failures are a disgrace to the profession and reflect poorly on the entire clinic. This is not the first time we have dealt with such incompetence, and judging by the volume of similar reviews, it is a systemic problem.

Patients should not have to suffer due to poor communication, lack of accountability, and glaring inefficiencies. A weekend support team would be helpful, but the real issue is that the existing staff cannot be trusted to fulfill their responsibilities in the first place.

City Center Family Physicians owes its patients more than an apology. I demand to know what actions will be taken to address this ongoing problem. Patients should not have to live in fear of their healthcare being compromised by administrative incompetence. To others reading this: speak up and share your experiences. Change will not happen unless we collectively demand better.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care I’ve receive from Dr. Antaya. From my very first visit, I felt welcomed and valued as a patient. Dr. Antaya took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain my options, and create a tailored treatment plan that truly met my needs.

Their professionalism, empathy, and dedication to my health have made a significant difference in my life. I appreciate the genuine compassion shown at every appointment, making me feel comfortable and understood. Thank you for being such an outstanding doctor! ?

My family has been going to CCFP for 10 years. My husband’s family has been much longer. We all saw Dr Golluboff and miss him like crazy. Unfortunately after his retirement no other Dr could take us (my husband sees another dr there but he wouldn’t even take our 2 kids) luckily I was able to find another Dr for us. When they faxed over the permission sheet for our medical records to be moved City Center called me and told me it was going to cost $100 to put our records on a USB I had to pay over the phone and I have to pick it up and bring it to my new Dr’s office because of the mail strike. So because they told me I couldn’t stay a patient there anymore because no Dr’s and I wanted MY families records I’m out $100.

I have tried to give the reception staff the benefit of the doubt, Dr Olsen is seriously an incredible doctor, but they have continually been rude and misleading for years now. I was just seeking a refill for a seizure medication for my wife, an contacted them in the morning. The staff said the pharmacy would have a refill today as the Doctor was in the office. I have called back twice, once at 330 and once at 530, to try and get that prescription as my wife desperately needs it. They hung up on me when I was just trying to get an answer if we would have the prescription today or not, because otherwise we would need a walk in clinic. I was very hurt that they would hang up on a desperate person like that.

My mother has stage four cancer and had a phone appointment scheduled which they called and canceled last minute and offered her a walk in appointment with another doctor later in the day instead. Unfortunately getting her in to the clinic isn't really an option. They informed me that the earliest available phone appointment was 4 days away, that seems a long time to let someone suffer. I know our Healthcare system is struggling but are we at the point where a 15 minute phone appointment is too much to ask for?

Dr. Zhao has been the best doctor I’ve seen in years. He takes the time to listen and understand your question before providing care options. I trust him wholeheartedly with my healthcare needs.
