my experience at Cape Fear rehab was that odd mixture of wonderful during a very, very tough time. My complicated surgery required six weeks of no weight-bearing and I went thru many emotions in dealing with everything. But the people who served and cared for me I have nothing but the highest respect And gratitude for. From Dr A and Dr Heather and therapist Stephanie and Tim and Liz and Josh and Vicky and Maria and so many more whose names are not coming to mine, but every day in the therapy room helping us through usually painful recoveries and doing it with respect and obviously concerned for our situations and nurses and aids Hannah and John and so many more. I wish I could line them up and give each a strong hug. For what they do and the respect they showed me During tough times which included having to be and cared for in sensitive matters. I will forever be grateful. So while knowing that no place is perfect and no large group of people will have everybody be flawless. The whole group has one large fan in me for nearly 5 weeks , I was there. Thank you, thank you thank you and God bless.

OT and PT are fabulous, the best !! The night nurse Sally is awesome , nurses Jade and Josie are good ! Sandra treated me like dirt because she brought my medicine in 2 hrs late, and I told her she was wrong! Na’s are pathetic and super lazy and deserve to be fired! Delia is the best she needs a raise!

All of the nurses and aides we have run into have been fantastic with my Dad . The problem has been the food! He is getting weaker and weaker because the food is inedible. I thought it was just his tastebuds but this morning he had turkey sausage (my tray had the same and it tasted like ground straw) and whole wheat pancakes. He doesn't have many teeth right now so everything has to be cut into small bites. It was impossible to cut the pancakes and after one bite, he pushed it aside. I have heard from numerous patients about the food ( one even said they rarely got what they ordered off the menu and on several times, removing the cover to their plate and the plate would be empty. ) please do something about the food. I am afraid he will die not from his fall but from starvation.

Fayetteville Cardiac Rehabilitation
The program was very good but a mistake was made and the VA should have been billed for all costs. The staff didn’t process correctly and I am stuck paying $505.00. No one seems to give a damn that I have called multiple times to fix this issue. I have been misled to believe someone has fixed the problem, yet each month I am threatened by collections if I don’t make a payment. This is bull. Cape Fear wants their money and will threaten to get it. Even for a Veteran. When they owe you, no one gives a damn.

I was in CFR about 2 years ago and I hated it!! The nurses were not friendly at all (except a few), and the therapists were horrible. Whether I was bleeding from my incision or throwing up, they still expected you to be there for therapy . I never wanted to see them again. Well, guess what.... I had major back surgery and this is where they put me. As much as I was dreading it, they were all great except for one nurse. When I say great, I mean great! All of them like hospitality, nurses, therapist, doctors, all of them.

Person registering people for their vaccines today verbally abused me outside of their clinic. Hope this is not how theyve been treating people. I got my vaccine today, but not here. I qualify for group 1 under NC's definition and I had that verified.

I've been coming here for a few months. My 2 boys go here and I've not been impressed or under any impression that the people that work here have a clue of what they're doing. We attend physical therapy twice a week. One of my sons I had to ask for a progress report and the answer was idk I havent checked. It's been a month or so, as of this point and time. Then they check and its little to no progress. I can see why. I will finish out there time here for the rest of the month but as s physically fit and educated person I dont think a therapist should ask children well under the age of 10 to tell them what they want to do for therapy.... there's no pushing them to listen or to do things that are more strenuous than playing the wee and playing a baby game. They do ten times more at home which has been said, but still dont do anything harder than what they do at home. I had to ask to do things a certain way and what they should do to stabilize a certain area. Maybe I was just spoiled from nation wide childrens, but this place is not a place to bring children too. Again they will never come back after there apts are over. Waisting everyone's time but the therapists. Cant believe they get paid, or wonder who supervises them. Maybe it's my fault and they dont need pt, idk. But I'm sure they'd tell me from their "professional opinion". Good thing going for them is the people are nice 🤷‍♂️.
