I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but what a wonderful experience. I've been living in NYC for a decade now and have finally found an ophthalmologist that is brilliant, kind, and direct. His patience was outstanding, asking questions; listening to my answers. I trust his perspective completely. His receptionist was extremely considerate and welcoming to a new patient. His office is managed with care, not packing patients in. It's the first time that I've had all my testing finished within the hour -- other offices are chaotic, oftentimes 3-4 hour visits because of so many patients waiting. What a gift you are Dr. Mastrobattista. Thank you for your thoughtfulness this morning.

I have been seeing Dr Mastrobattista for a very long time and I have perfect vision thanks to him. I have referred many friends and they all agree that he is an excellent doctor. I know that he was educated at the best schools and knows all the latest research and what is available for his patients and he is easy to speak to.

This is a physician in the real sense of the word. Dr Mastrobattista is that rare combination of experience, diagnostic and technical skill, and a capacity to relate to his patients whatever their age and experience. I have referred many friends to him. His office practice is in a traditional, quiet space, also rare these days. No crowding of people, on-time scheduling. I feel in the best care when visiting him for bi-annual check-ups and other eye-related issues as they come up.

Went to see Dr. Mastrobattista for possible glaucoma evaluation. He explained everything to me, answered every question, and is very patient and professional. I did not wait very long, but certainly would to see such an excellent doctor. He is calm and did not make me nervous.

Dr. Mastrobattista is brilliant, knowledgeable, kind, patient, understanding, honest and funny. I highly recommend him; he was highly recommended to me ten years ago by one of the top ophthalmologists in New York City.

Even as a child, I visited the eye doctor twice yearly. I have always had problems with my vision. Fifteen years ago I suffered from myopic macular degeneration resulting in loss of central vision. Dr. M removed a cataract from that eye which improved my peripheral vision. Additionally, I have high pressure and a cataract in the right eye.

I trust him!

Dr. Mastrobattista is the BEST in NYC. He operated on my 85y/o for cataracts and glaucoma and my mother can see! He speaks very little Spanish but makes himself understood.
