The team at OHARI brought me back to myself. My car accident broke my femur, my ankle, shattered my pelvis, and ruptured my bladder. After surgery and 10 days in the hospital, I transferred here. In the hospital, remaining positive was the hardest thing ever. I was bedridden and couldn't even use the bathroom or shower by myself. I hoped Rehab would help and it really did.

After transferring to OHARI, everything changed. My therapists, nurses, techs, and doctors worked as a team to ensure I was comfortable, heard, understood, and most importantly that I was on the path to recovery. I went into rehab barely being able to move from my bed. After two days I could already shower, use the restroom again, and move freely in my wheelchair.

My friends and family were respected and treated like guests. The facility included really good meals, outdoor time, pet therapy, and even let me move a PS4 into my room for when I wasn't in therapy.

I wish I could name everyone who helped me during the darkest moment of my life, but I'm bad at names. Tetyana, Karyn, Alex, Diego, Ailbe, Katie, Naomi, Isamy, Stephanie, Lara, Krystal, Christi, Dr. Mahal, Reenal, and so many others made my recovery possible. I will walk again and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to come here

I can highly recommend the Advanced Rehabilitation Institute. The staff is excellent; both the therapists and the nursing staff. In particular among the nurses, Sashi, Chynnalyn and Stephanie were amazing. My therapists, Jessica, Maria and Chloe were amazing as well.

On the negative side, the beds are very uncomfortable, especially for someone who already was in the hospital for three weeks prior to arriving at the facility. Also, the discharge process was confusing and disorganized. More communication during that process would have been helpful.

Other than that, I can highly recommend the facility to anyone needing inpatient rehabilitation care.

Level of treatment I received was excellent. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous and interested in you as a patient. I was in this program 7 years ago at the hospital and I am pleased to see it's even better than then.

My experience at the rehab center was not good. The nurse's assistance wereme me a lazy, I would turn my light on and they would answer it I had to wait 30min. I got no respect,and nurse's lied to management about my son. I talk to some employees and they agreed about the care. Do not contact me about my experience, this is the way I feel.

After my knee surgery I was transferred to OHAR. I had 4 therapists during that week I spent there. They were so great. I love all of them because the compassion, the love I received from them make me cry. The techs were so great, they help me dress and wash myself. My only problem I always have to call for my meds. Food was not to great, always too dry or overcooked, but if you don't like it they will bring you another plate of food. Overall, great place to be.

My experience at Orlando Health - Advanced Rehabilitation Institute was excellent. I dislocated my hip and was transferred to OHARI from the VA for rehab on June 15. From the nurses and technicians on the second floor (219) to PT and OT I felt safe, and experienced excellent healthcare. Although all clinical and PT/OT were excellent, there are several that stood out, that were exceptional, whom I would call my heroes.
