Friendly people but lacking in providing proper patient attention/treatment. I was seen here for 6 weeks, 10-12 hours of therapy. Based on their 1st & 2nd assessment my progress was minimal. I told them I was still in pain, asked for ultrasound, and my therapy never changed. I knew something was wrong when my PTA saw me do an exercise (6 weeks later) & said "you're doing this wrong," really? Now you noticed?! PTA says hello and leaves you in the hands of tech giving instructions on what bands to pull. PTA may see you leave and say goodbye.
NOW, I'm at a different local facility and in 3 hours of therapy I showed a 10%-15% improvement. I do different therapy and my PTA spends the final 30 minutes asking questions about therapy today, doing massage/stretching, ultrasound etc.
People need to know your PTA is supposed to help you get better and if you are not better, then change facility.

I began experiencing pain in my foot back in May. After ignoring it and hoping that it would get better, by the time September rolled around, I was nearly to the point where something as simple as walking was excruciating. I began seeing Lauren Lucio, PT and the staff at PhyTex after an MRI showed a plethora of issues in my foot. From the start, I felt that Lauren closely listened to everything I described about my pain and created an individualized plan to get me (literally) back on my foot. At the beginning of every session, she asked for an update as to how things had been since my last session and modified my plan accordingly to keep me going in the right direction. While I can't describe the therapy as "fun" (I always left sweaty and feeling as if I'd had a whole workout and some of the treatments were....uncomfortable), I can say that I felt like I was walking in to see my second family at every session. Every single person there always had a friendly, positive attitude and that made me look forward to each session. My husband who works in the medical field always spoke positively of PhyTex before I began going there based on his experiences as a provider. His opinion of them is even more favorable now after hearing about my experience. While I trusted his opinion from the beginning, now that I have been a patient at PhyTex and experienced their treatment firsthand, I am pleased that I can personally recommend them. Lauren and the rest of the PhyTex staff really know their stuff!

I was seen here for about six weeks, and I felt most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. They all seemed knowledgeable in their roles, and my main therapist - Kelsey - was always so quick to find information and displayed such a great knowledge of human anatomy. It was really helpful in understanding some of the issues I was trying to resolve.

PhyTex is phenomenal! The entire staff is very friendly and very helpful. Dr. Palacios is very attentive and very involved in the rehab process and the therapy aids are also very knowledgeable and positive. So far so great, can’t wait to see the final results from working with them

Wonderful employees!! I'll be back after post op. Manager put a smile on your beautiful face more often. I know all that paperwork is daunting. You're great as well as your staff!! Don't let the politics or the extra get to you girl!!!

From walking through the front door till the end of therapy the staff is polite, inviting, knowledgeable and professional group. I will be attending my 4th session tomorrow and I have noticed positive changes in how I feel each day.

My Mom’s experience with this facility has been wonderful. Lauren her therapist is the wonderful with her. We would definitely recommend this facility and Miss Lauren to anyone.
