Being at Potamac Valley has been one of the most extraordinary times of my life starting with entering the facility you are greeted with such smiling and welcoming staff and receptionist. Moving into where I spend my month into the Arizona wing are the nurses where they welcome me with respect and kindliness. I met so many great staff person's on my first day I lost count but everyone was helpful and kind. I love their activities department. Ernesto can really sing and I love Ms. Carmen and how nice she is.They have so many wonderful activities like bingo and arts and crafts. I also enjoy going to rehab and working with Rosa, Chrystal and Martin. They pushed me to keep going even through the pain because it was going to help me in the end and it did. Thank you to Cita the supply lady who supplies me with the incontinence care supplies when I needed them I really appreciate it. Thank you for anyone I forgot to mention thank you to the whole Potomac Valley family for making my stay there enjoyable and may God bless you all!!!

My sister spent the last 22 months of her life (almost two full years) at Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center confined to a bed and on a feeding tube. Her care was wonderful - all that time in bed and she never had a bed sore or infection. When she did contract pneumonia they took amazing care of her and she recovered. I was notified of any changes in her health, any falls or setbacks and updated on her status on a regular basis.
It's not the most physically beautiful place, and some of the patients are quite noisy and in distress, but the caregivers are excellent and totally on top of their game.
I recommend it highly!

I cannot say enough good things about the Life Enrichment/Activity Team! They care! In an industry where caring about residents is often lacking, this staff led by Boyet and Carmen, each and every one on the team truly cares about the residents. I am deeply grateful for the kindness they show residents and the help they offer me and my team of volunteers. As volunteers, we are better able to serve residents with the help of the Life Enrichment Team. It has been nearly eight years and going strong! Thank you!

The best rehabilitation place for your love one. The life enrichment team has always been top notched with creating wonderful experience and memories with the residents. Every week they have something new to keep everyone entertained and engaged with their community. It’s like a one big family gathering all the time.

I can't say enough good things about Potomac Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center! My loved one was there for a year needing rehab, and the care they received was outstanding. One of the highlights of our experience was the Life Enrichment department, led by the amazing Boyet Delacruz. Boyet and his team went above and beyond to ensure that residents had engaging, fun, and meaningful activities every day. Their dedication truly made a difference in my loved one's recovery and overall well-being. The sense of community they foster is unmatched. If you're looking for a place that not only provides top-notch care but also a vibrant, supportive environment, Potomac Valley is the perfect choice!

Wonderful! My father who can't walk and needs changed went to 2 other highly rated nursing facilities only to develop a horrible bed sore/ pressure ulcer, which got infected at both other facilities and had to return to the hospital twice for the same reason: slow, argumentive, outdated medical equipment and inconsiderate personnel. Potomac Valley is great, I can't give them enough stars!! Don't send your loved ones to Montgomery Village Health Care. They're HORRIBLE!!!! Desmond and the supervisor were both great at Potonac Valley as well. The nurses ask you if you need changed, not the other way around where my Dad sat in his own waste for hours, they argued with me about a catheter, and one nurse was told my Dad needed changed and she went on an extended break first!! No name tags= big red flag, too. The head nurse at Montgomery Village was nasty, argumentive, flirted with patients, and did everything possible to not have to work. Potomac Valley gives you a nice welcome packet with little gifts, the TV channel list, the wifi passcode, and genuinely seems to care. Not so at the other 2 facilities. My Dad had to wait several days just to get his TV to work at MC. No one but maintenance knew the TV code, then the nurses turned off his TV at night and so he had to go through the same problem the next several days!! They don't want you to go back to the hospital either, because they are rated on that. They don't care how sick your loved one is. Don't go anywhere else but Potomac Valley!! We wish he would have gone there first!!!

This facility is one of the best I have visited. As a care giver of different nursing homes. I love how they treat the elderly here. They made sure they have fun activities every time , their life enrichment program is my favorite. They have kareoke and dancing for elderly, their kindness and compassions are contagious. ?
