I had need of therapy after hospitalization, and Mid America Rehab Hospital was where I was transferred! What a great atmosphere for improving your health provided by top notch professionals!! There was daily hard work with goals and supervised structure for each day! I was able to accomplish my goals within a reasonable time! I would highly recommend Mid America to anyone who needs the best care to be had in the KC area. They are also a large company with many locations scattered around the company! They take Medicare and most Insurances. You’ll be glad you pick Mid America. A doctor’s Referral is your ticket to entrance!

I do not recommend this company. My mom needed a power chair to get around in the house. They didn't listen to us and they gave her a chair with options she doesn't need. The chair has been broken down over half of the time she has had it. Maintenance was supposed to come today and they never showed up. And no one seems to know why or know what's going on.

Extremely poor customer service. I have a wheelchair bound relative who depends on his power chair. Week after week, the day of the scheduled repair, they don't show up and at the last minute have another lame excuse. " We are short handed" "The tech is sick". Meanwhile disabled people suffer! Going on 3 weeks now. SHAMEFUL!

Only reason I gave 1 star is because zero is not an option. Spent thousands of dollars for a power chair that lasted 3 months! Have been trying to get it fixed for 2 months and it breaks down minutes after the tec leaves. Customer service is absolutely horrible!!!

The products are fairly good. The batteries and motor lasted less than a year.
Their customer service is extremely poor. It took about two weeks to get the parts and have them installed.
The tech who installed deserves a raise. He was great.

Absolutely the worst medial supply company in KC, we ordered a chair for my grandmother, they give you the run around, tell you one thing and then completely contradict themselves the next time they call or you have to call, the lady we talked to each time was absolutely no help what so ever and every time we called her story changed and she lied about multiple different things, they stood us up twice when we they were supposed to deliver and the lady had some excuse saying “oh sorry the driver was supposed to call” but we never received a call. a competent company doesn’t have to make excuses multiple times to quantify their poor service, we have canceled our order and will be going with a company that actually knows what they are doing, these people are quacks and Rehab, don’t bother replying to this because we did call your customer service number and they were absolutely no help and were just as terrible

Be careful, they are very deceptive. Purchased a wheelchair for my husband 2 years ago. We were lied to about the cost. We were told over and over again we would not be billed anything. We were told insurance was covering entire cost of wheelchair. Yet we received a bill. Called and disputed it several times and was told bill would be taken care of. Now we are getting a bill from a collection agency. Tried to reach out to Rehab Medical last week about this and still after 5 days no return call. Terrible customer service. They may have decent products but their customer service is very bad. Beyond disappointed. Guess we will be purchasing any other medical equipment elsewhere.

The technician was very kind and courteous. He made sure to adjust my electric wheelchair to fit me perfectly. He made sure that I understood everything. Answered all my questions .
Very respectful.
I was informed that my request for a Pride Jazzy was approved and it was delivered the very next day.
I highly recommend Rehab Medical Of Kansas City to anyone needing medical equipment.
